The Pulitzers
Correction to the original query: The Pulitzers are not French — they are a Dutch Hammond organ funk quartet (Rotterdam scene). Organist Frank Montis (also of Montis, Goudsmit & Directie), guitarist Bas van der Wal, percussionist Phil Martin, and drummer Salle de Jonge (known for his work with soul singer Sabrina Starke). They are "young veterans" of the Dutch scene, rooted in The Meters, jimmy-mcgriff and Booker T. & the M.G.'s.^[raw/articles/flophouse-the-pulitzers-honk-honk.md]
