The "Jimmy James trio" the user asked about: a fresh organ trio on Colemine Records formed in 2025 by guitarist jimmy-james (ex-delvon-lamarr-organ-trio, True Loves) with Adam Scone on Hammond organ (Scone Cash Players, The Sugarman 3, a Daptone-scene veteran) and Tim Carman (GA-20) on drums. The project was hatched when Carman told Colemine founder Terry Cole he wanted an organ trio; Cole called James and Scone directly. Their first studio jam, "West Memphis," was released as the debut single (July 2025), and the debut album Emeralds followed on Colemine/Karma Chief.^[raw/articles/bandcampdaily-parlor-greens-emeralds.md]
Note the inverted format: unlike DLO3, here the guitarist is the founding star with organ as the foil — a boogaloo-leaning take on the modern-organ-scene trio template.
