Jimmy James (Jimmy James Williams)
Note: Jimmy James is a guitarist, not an organist — he lives in
entities/people/because he is a performing musician central to the organ-trio story (Delvon Lamarr OT, Parlor Greens), but does not belong inplayers/(organists only, per AGENTS.md §7).
Seattle guitarist (Jimmy James Williams) best known for his seven-year stint (2015–2022) as the guitarist of the delvon-lamarr-organ-trio, where his blend of Steve Cropper chanking, Jimi Hendrix freak-outs and Grant Green-style jazz lines was half of the band's signature sound. He co-founded Seattle's nine-piece soul band True Loves with drummer David McGraw.^[raw/articles/wikipedia-delvon-lamarr-organ-trio.md]
After leaving DLO3 he fronted his own organ trio, parlor-greens (with Adam Scone on Hammond and Tim Carman on drums), formed in 2025 on Colemine Records — this is the "new Jimmy James trio" (debut album Emeralds, 2025). He also appears as a guest on Kendra Morris's Colemine album Next (2025).^[raw/articles/bandcampdaily-parlor-greens-emeralds.md]
